1. Membership Agreement
The Membership Agreement grants Public Power Pool exclusive agent authority to negotiate a contract on behalf of the member.

2. Letter of Authorization
The Letter of Authorization designates the facilities for which Public Power Pool is authorized to obtain electricity and usage information from any other agency or authority such as any Retail Electric Provider or Transmission and Distribution System Provider.

3. Minute Order
Execution of the Minute Order approves both the Articles of Incorporation and the Bylaws. It also designates a representative who will serve as the primary point of contact for Public Power Pool. Finally, it authorizes payment of initial dues and acknowledges the Letter of Authorization as completed.



Load profile and analysis
The aggregation process begins by collecting and analyzing load profile data. The cost for this service is $30/meter. Upon joining, your entity will be invoiced for this amount plus initial dues in the amount of $250.

If you do not find your county or city on this spreadsheet, deregulation of electric utilities is not allowed in this area as deemed by the Texas Legislature due to rural co-operatives or municipally owned utilities.
